Staged and Closed by Gina Nugent

What is staging?
Staging is one of the most effective, proven real estate marketing tools (after reasonable pricing) in selling a home. Statistics show that staged homes sell 80% faster for prices as much as 7% higher than comparable, non-staged properties.

Why should I invest in staging?
Staging will get you more money sooner. Often a home will very likely languish on the market for an unnecessarily long time. A "sitting" home often becomes a financial and personal burden on individuals and their families- literally putting their lives on ‘hold’ waiting for it to sell. Staging will avoid such detriment.

Can't I just try it first without staging?
Putting a home on the market without preparing it for "public exhibition" has been proven to be far less successful. The most crucial time after a home gets on the market is the first two weeks. If it is not properly prepared, there simply will not be a second chance for that positive first impression necessary to motivate buyers.

I didn't stage my home first and it didn't sell. Is it too late now?
It is never too late to receive the benefits of staging and wonders can be done later to bring an old listing to life, but again, it is shown to be most effective when coming to market.

Gina Nugent, Owner of Staged and Closed™, cannot stress the importance of staging BEFORE it goes "public", enough. Clients, hiring her after their homes haven't sold in the timeframe they desired, regret their costly mistake of not staging it from the beginning.

What if I can't afford staging?
In many cases sellers cannot afford NOT to stage if they want their home to move quickly for the desired price.

The investment in Staging is always a lot less than the price reduction which the seller has to expect from buyers if it is not move-in ready for them. Giving buyers a "to-do-list" before they even put in an offer, is a big "NO" in this highly-competitive market.

Is staging cost prohibitive?
It is much more reasonable than people realize. In fact, given the higher value one can receive and the quicker sale time, both of which have been proven in numerous studies, it can be the best investment possible- quickly returning many times the cost.

Staging does not simply redesign a space. All changes are done with a cost benefit in mind to please the seller.

Where do the furnishings come from?
Staged and Closed™ has a large warehouse in which contains the majority of its inventory. Furthermore, we can create custom pieces for your home if necessary.

Do you sell any furniture?
All of our furniture is for sale, including window treatments, accessories, potted plants, art, mirrors, chandeliers, and mirrors. Please give us a call if you see any piece you are interested in.

How long does it take?
Once we have a signed contract, payment, and key, we can install your home in 2 - 10 days, depending on size.

Do I have to be there?
No. It is recommended that the home owner in not present. The process of staging is highly dynamic and only after we are all done, the home will represent its polished look. We also want to impress the seller and surprise them with the result, so he can feel what the potential buyer will when they see the home for the first time.
